EVERLAST
[intransitive verb] does not need an object to make sense.
An unwavering spirit. Enduring and steadfast. Imagine an Oak tree that stands firm through every storm; you know of its impermanence, yet its anchoring gives you a sense of knowing, strength, and hope.
Simply, I like this word for some reason. In this collection, I’m trying to express a connection to something deeper than the surface.
The surface of these paintings is lustrous to the touch and framed with beautiful deep Blackwood float frames.
WILD PALMS OF QUEENSlaND
This collection is about my tropical home. What I see every single day. I’ve extended towards a representational expression of these majestic and wild giants.
The intuitive layers of acrylic paint, glazes, and pigments, create an ever-revealing piece of art that holds a vintage, neutral aesthetic from afar, yet intense, rich detail close-up.

LITTLE STORIES EVERYWHERE
This collection has taken me toward representational imagery. Always starting intuitively, these 18 paintings pushed my abstract edges and eventually revealed themselves as a stories to tell.
This collection further explores a process I’ve developed that evokes a sense of aged vintage, depth and character to the surface.
UNTETHERED
These five large pieces allowed me to express musings about life, relational attachments and detachment itself.
A slice of life. A collection I hope to explore and expand on. These pieces are deep with texture & layers derived from mixed media.

RETROSPECTIVE PROCESS
I’ve had a varied working life. Hospitality, movie set-painter and small business owner. A beautiful family life along the way, eventually coming to a place of wanting to paint again. My self-taught abstract process is born from a sound knowledge of paint & design while holding intuition & spontaneity in high regard while trusting the process to find my way.
